Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others.

Color me surprised. I wrote elsewhere that I would eat a murder of crows ("murder" is the word used with this species to denote a large group - the same as "flock", but specific for crows) if Trump won.

This is one of the benefits of being a pessimist - if you are wrong, you are pleasantly surprised. No matter what happens over the next four years, it will be far, far better than four years of the Clinton Corruption. Even if there are no changes (although I anticipate quite a few), it will be better than the changes Hillary would have instituted.

We may end up with a Supreme Court which actually adheres to the U.S. Constitution.

We may end up with our borders protected against the perils of both illegal immigration and the influx of muslim jihadis into America.

We may - probably will - end up reconnecting with our former allies, strengthening those ties once again, instead of shunning them and siding with those inimical to the best interests of America. Hopefully, that will include supporting Israel against the so-called "Palestinians" (aka Hamas) and at the U.N. against damn near everyone.

We _will_ avoid a war with Russia, which is especially good, since it would also include doing the right thing in Syria, which means allowing their government to plot its own course, instead of trying to force regime change.

I fervently hope (I'd be praying if I was a religious person) that we move to shut down Iran's nuclear program. A country which continues to call for the destruction of both Israel and America has no business producing nuclear weapons. It wouldn't require regime change to affect this much-to-be-desired outcome, but it would be nice to see that happen any way - just not through our efforts. Defending ourselves and Israel - the only "democratic" government in the Middle East - is a legitimate policy to pursue, and taking down their nuclear weapons program should be a priority for Trump. He should get together with Israel and do what it takes. Whatever it takes.

Since ISIS has deposed the legitimate government of Iraq, is trying to do the same in Syria, and is conducting a wholesale slaughter of Christians and Kurds, it would be a proper thing to actually go to war with ISIS. The barbarity of their actions against all non-muslim peoples in the Middle East is cause enough, reason enough. The favor should be returned, with wholesale slaughter of these savages themselves. There is no way to redeem or rehabilitate these muslims - true, orthodox muslims, doing exactly as the qur'an commands them to do. Eradicate them, and perhaps other muslims will "see the light" and behave, even though their cult will not permit them to do much more than hide their infected minds and bodies in an attempt to escape retribution.

The next few years will be very interesting. If Trump survives possible assassination attempts (the Left is far more violent than the right - look at the Nazis [socialists] and the Communists of the old Russia/Soviet Union and China - so any attempt upon his life will originate there), what he does to restore our economy, our freedoms, our rights, and America's exceptionalism (exactly what brought so many valuable legal immigrants to our shores) will be interesting to see.

My thanks to the many millions of Americans whose votes over-rode the millions of dead people and multiple-voting socialists who attempted to elect Hillary. I'm starting to feel some new-found pride in America.

  1. A lot of us were surprised, and I have no problem admitting I was wrong. As I commented over at BZ's page, I thought killery would eventually get the winning tally.

I would like to think that he will be able to "drain the swamp" that deecee is, but I doubt much will change, the entrenched bureaucracy will push back, I read yesterday that he's already talking about not repealing obozocare, just modifying it.

Yet, if he stays who he is, and still gets a lot of the morass cleaned up, that will be a good thing. Time will tell, I just don't see a lot of time left for him to clean house. We'll find out soon enough.

  2. So, you've probably heard by now, that trumper won't "pursue charges" against killery. At first, I was disappointed but not surprised, but after thinking about it, and reading comments at WRSA and ZH, I was probably reacting too quickly.

It makes sense, to not do this now, and let others do this after the inaugaration, that's what their job is, anyway. Yet, if nothing happens, it'll piss off a lot of people that voted for him.

Have a great Thanksgiving day and weekend, Reg, tye at ya later.

    1. As usual, Grog, I'm a day late and a dollar short. I agree with both of your comments. I was quite surprised that Trump was able to pull it off. I firmly believe there must have been an actual landslide of Trump voters in order to overcome the votes of the dead, the bussed-in homeless, the votes of the illegals, the votes of felons who had their right to vote restored in a blanket wave of a magic wand by a progressive governor, the multiple votes of so many liberals, the uncounted votes of Republicans/military out of country, etc. I'm guessing there were quite a few Democrats who voted for Trump, too. Surprised the hell out of me.

I think Trump will try to do what is right, and what he said he would do, but he will probably be obstructed by both Congress and the entrenched bureaucracies like the IRS, EPA, FDA, etc. It will be an uphill battle, especially with McConnell vowing to impede Trumps agenda.

I don't have a clue if DOJ has been staffed with so many Obamanoids that it will attempt to obstruct him as well, but I fear he will find it difficult to motivate and direct that agency after it has developed a culture of not seeking justice, but rather replacing the rule of law with the rule of man / rule of the elite. I hope my pessimism is proved to be wrong again, and that Trump will be able to stop muslim immigration/demographic jihad, stop the illegal alien invasion, repeal Obamacare, and begin the lengthy process of restoring the rule of law in this country.

If he can also take down the Clinton Foundation, and strip the Clintons of most of the "pay for play" funds they illegally acquired, I will drop to my knees and give thanks to whatever deity cares to listen. If he can successfully indict and convict them of their pedophilia as well, I will be totally amazed and have to consider becoming an optimist for the first time since I learned that Santa Claus thought my Christmas stocking looked best loaded down with coal.

I sincerely hope he isn't lead astray by advisors who convince him to give up not just on his election promises but his core principles as well. That would be a very sad state of affairs.

Thanks again for commenting with insightful opinions and information. Hope your Thanksgiving was spent with loved ones and good friends.

    2. I suppose that should have been "led astray", but being a reloader who also casts many of his own bullets, I guess I can be forgiven :-)

  3. A belated Merry Christmas, Reg, apologies for the delayed salutations. And good thoughts to you and yours for the new year, for those of us that are of the like mindset, it'll end up being a good year, yet by all indications, it'll start out as less than pleasant.

"lead astray" heh, didn't catch that earlier, I wouldn't have commented on it anyway, I don't comment on spelling errors unless it's in humor. :)

BZ has some good observations on the recent "vote hacking" accusations by obozo, if you haven't read them yet.

    Stay Safe.

    1. Good article, Grog. Thank you for posting that URL. The title is certainly right on, as well. If ever a person (was going to write "man", but realized this gay, petulant POS doesn't rate that title) deserved to be bitch-slapped, it is this perverted creature. What a cruel joke on America, that this jerk was elected twice. A traitor, too, plain and simple.

  4. Good morning Reg, I sent you an email with some B17 stuff :)

    1. Thank you, John. I offer an abject apology. I did indeed get those gorgeous photos, and I love them. My dad would have, too. For some reason, I thought I had sent a note of thanks, but my memory is fading - and I'm too young for that crap!

I still lurk - and occasionally post - on your thoroughly enjoyable blog. I'm going to try to re-dedicate myself to this pissant little blog of mine. Thank you for hanging in there with me on your list of blogs you follow. Bless you, my son ;-)

  5. Good evening, Reg, are you still with us? I sent an email some weeks back, didn't get a reply.

The video is from two weeks ago, but is about today.

Drop some words, let us know how you're doing.

    1. Grog, apologies are in order. This (10/30/17 at 2200-2245) is the first time I have come back here in almost a year. I looked for your email on my only two addresses, regt_2000@yahoo.com and regt2000@gmail.com, but I couldn't locate anything. I'm hoping the old address I show for you is still good. I will copy this in an email and also leave this here in case the addy I have for you is defunct. Take care, brother.

Sorry, folks. I was completely ignorant about comment rules. Anyone can post, but I'd prefer a name, even if it is made up. Anonymous posts just seem cheap, if you know what I mean. Also, if you want to argue a point, that's fine. Cheap shots and name calling towards me or another person commenting (ad hominem) is rude and will get you banned. Other than that, I'd love to get some comments.
