Gun confiscation-how it may go down

I just finished listening to a police officer from Missouri talking about how he envisioned the government implementing gun confiscation, secondary to whatever new laws may come out of D.C. He said that he thought it would not happen in a door-to-door search as it did in New Orleans after Katrina. He said he believed it would happen either by vehicle checkpoints or by warrants issued in your specific name.

Let's think about this for a moment. In Texas, they are already doing checkpoints, supposedly to locate and identify gang members. They stop them, check ID, photograph gang "tats", and maybe even arrest any they find who have active warrants. In the Southern border states, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California, Border Patrol ("ICE", now) has checkpoints set up as much as 100+ miles north of the border, supposedly checking for illegals, but also for anything else they are interested in. Usually, they stop you and check your ID, whether you look like a blond-haired, blue-eyed Scandanavian or a seven-foot tall Watusi, although I have been waved through without a check on several occasions (years ago - I don't know if anyone is getting waved through these days).

There are many reasons for checkpoints, but in the future they may have one more purpose.

If registration of any and all firearms is ordered via legislation, each and ever one of us who has ever purchased a firearm through a store where a BATFE form 4473 has been filled out will be in a law enforcement database. It may be a statewide database or a Federal one. BATFE may give access to their database to state and local agencies, or fusion centers which can be accessed by those agencies. Any agency which is given access will be able to see if you have purchased a firearm where a 4473 was filled out. More than likely, that access will be tied into your state's motor vehicle system, or BATFE may simply have their IT staff enter your vehicle data into their own database. Some of us know this happens already in our state when we get a CHL/CCW permit. I have been stopped for speeding and asked if I was currently carrying a firearm, due to the state tying the CHL database into the DMV database.

So. It is several weeks after the deadline has passed for you to either register (what you are "allowed" to keep) or turn in your firearms (the ones they banned). If you are stopped in any kind of checkpoint, you are likely to have your plates and/or driver's license run for "weapons registered to" you. If your local/state agency has decided to assist the Feds in their confiscation and enforcement of the new laws, you go to jail. Right there, right now. Your family and friends may never know, especially if the Feds, fusion center, or local agency has been directed to hold you "incommunicado" - without allowing you to make phone calls or otherwise notify anyone. The Patriot Act and NDAA allow them to get away with that, as you probably already know.

The agency then - with or without a warrant - goes to your home, throws your wife against a wall, points an MP5 or MP7 at your kids, shoots your dog and stomps your cat, then tears your house apart looking for your guns, ammo, stored food, "subversive" literature, computers with the email addresses of fellow patriots, and anything else they want.

Even without the checkpoints, if your local agency decides to comply with the Federal efforts at confiscation and detention of us "domestic terrorists", it could be as simple as the Feds providing a blanket warrant for anyone who ever filled out a Form 4473. Guilty until proven innocent. You drive into town to get some milk, or feed for the chickens, or to pick up medicine at Walgreens or CVS for your child, and some local cop runs your plate when you drive by. He gets a hit, pulls you over, IDs you as having a warrant for unregistered firearms, and hooks you up. Once they have you in custody, they know they have an excellent chance of getting into your house without getting shot (unless your wife is a tigress willing to die rather than be a slave, or willing to fight to keep your kids from being placed with some child molester via CPS. Yes, then she has to didi-mau out of there with the kids, but that is a whole separate article in itself).

Otherwise, other cops or Feds go to your home, jack your wife and kids up, kill your pets, ransack your house, steal your guns, food, supplies, cash, silver and gold, and take off. Your door hanging from its hinges, your gun safe torched open, your pets bleeding on the floor or ground, your wife in cuffs and your children hauled off to Child "Protective" Services - probably to end up in the foster care of that pederast I mentioned.

I think this is more likely than any cops - especially cowardly faggot Federal officers - risking their lives going door-to-door, don't you? Do you see how easy it could be?

Hopefully, the word would get out, and patriots would then simply refuse to stop for a traffic stop. Those of us who could might simply not leave their homes, except perhaps after dark, or only in an emergency, like getting medicine for a loved one, or taking them to a hospital (or perhaps a trusted family doctor).

Once we heard it was happening, it would be time to start taking down any checkpoints you knew or heard about. It would be time to go to local law enforcement facilities and destroy their vehicles and infrastructure (that way avoiding killing any good cops, or at least without angering the LEOs so much they make a career of hunting you down). Initially, however, some people are going to get hammered, then crushed.

So. Before any new gun control legislation goes through, each and every one of us needs to set up comms with friends and family, so that if one of you is taken or targeted, the rest learn about it as soon as possible. Look for, expect something like this to happen. I hope to Christ (forgive my blasphemy if you are religious) that I am simply being paranoid, but this is how I see it playing out. If you have any ideas to add to this, or can point out - logically, not merely wishful thinking - where you think I am wrong, please do so. Semper paratus, my friends.

Sorry, folks. I was completely ignorant about comment rules. Anyone can post, but I'd prefer a name, even if it is made up. Anonymous posts just seem cheap, if you know what I mean. Also, if you want to argue a point, that's fine. Cheap shots and name calling towards me or another person commenting (ad hominem) is rude and will get you banned. Other than that, I'd love to get some comments.
